Now I have mentioned in an earlier post how popular the Frisian horses are. But, to be honest, you won’t find the best ones at the fair. The very best you will see at the yearly stallion show in Friesland.
I went there and filled half a sketchbook!
And as I have discovered a ”movie-maker” on my computer I have made a nice slideshow of them. The whole sketchbook, complete and unabridged!

what kind of good deal would u give me for a rocking horse for my grandson? it is exquisite and u r soooooo talented.
I am afraid I’m not making rockinghorses at the moment. I have no proper workplace right now and I want to concentrate on painting for now.
waaaah….. this would have been a wonderful Christmas gift for my Grandchild. (big pout)

For the time being I just can’t do them: I need a reasonably sized workplace for these things!
Maybe next summer I can rent a place.
