When I visited the Alhambra Palace in Spain for the first time I was 11 years old, the experience never left me. Time and time again this magical place turned up in my dreams.

Aafke,
Your artwork is magnificent, and this series just pulls me in. If you are interested, I have an Arabian mare with an unusual amount of roaning; she appeared in Arabian Horse World and I have photos of her on my (atrociously outdated!) website, if you would like to look at her.
Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us!

I have seen your site and the photo of your mare, she is lovely! And such an interesting colour as well! Just the kind of horse I’d like to use in the series!
Thanks for enjoying my site!

Hi, I don´t know how long I already have this poster which I bought I think in Den Bosch at the int. showjumping, I think it could be 10 years and it went from Holland to Portugal with us and I still love it, and love your other work also. I breed Lusitano´s and I wonder if you could do something like the Alhambra but then with a Lusitano stallion.
