Perhaps you’d like to compare your “mind’s-eye” painting with the ones you’ve painted from photos or life and note the differences in emphasis on different parts of the horse.

Lat, Solomon, you can’t get a horse to ”pose”, So really most of my paintings are by memory, or using a very simple sketch.
